Craft
What is
As old as time itself, Craft in it’s most raw form is a language of energy. No one being experiences or speaks it the same. When any reality or world cries, breathes or rejoices it can be heard and felt through Craft. It manifests infinitely in different forms from religion to rituals to instinctual practice, the expressions are endless as are their interpretations.
To keep this honest and simple I can only tell you what craft means to me and the form that I was taught. There is no right or wrong expressions of Craft, as long as the driving force is that of love and balance.
Craft also referred to as The Old Way, has always represented the language between the Spirit, natural and physical worlds. It’s a binding force that is prevalent in every aspect of existence. When I sit in nature and feel the world living under my hands, when I hear spirits chattering at the witching hour, when I fall in love or when I need a break from to the world to just breathe, it’s all Craft to me. From love to hate, anger to calm craft is flowing through the fabric of existence.
I was taught that energy is not inherently good or bad. It’s an expression and a language regardless of how extreme it appears and it will always have a balancing counter force existing somewhere. Maintaining this natural balance and respecting the spirit world in all it’s power, whether it’s light or dark is the lens I see my craft through.
You will see me speaking about Spirit and Craft as a living and breathing being, as a friend and as my home. Craft spills into all areas of my life, from the mundane to the sexual and to the spiritual, all these experiences and expressions are equally important to honour.
This is the path that I chose to walk within this lifetime and this is how Craft speaks through me.
